Summer time and the living is.....well a bit wet to be honest. But we are still working back to back on projects for the foreseeable future

We've also been recording a local band 'Bear in the Air' and continuing work on the forthcoming album by Stuart Chalmers.

During the first quarter of 2007 we tracked and mixed several albums.

The first, recorded by Chris Jamison and friends is currently being mastered at Abbey Road. Click here to hear some of his previous work.

Chris flew all the way from Virginia, USA, with two very talented friends to record at Woodworm and worked tirelessly to complete the recordings in record time.

Our second album came from folk quartet Strangeworld. Recorded in just four days this acoustic folk band has achieved an amazing ten song album in the time it takes some bands to record one song.

During the end of 2006 we were happy to welcome back Fairport Convention, previous owners of this studio, to record their latest album: Sense of Occasion (which was released 12th February 2007). This album release celebrates their 40th anniversary and is a fabulous mix of new and traditional folk rock songs. Click here to visit their website and buy a copy.

We've recently recorded local blues band Mojo Bones who managed to track a staggering EIGHT tracks in one day. We doff our caps to the professionalism and talent of these guys.

We've just finished seven tracks with upcoming band Diceman Lopez - have a listen to some of our efforts here - we're all especially proud of "Swim In" which was done live in the studio in one take, with no overdubs and no edits at all!

Watch out for Anglo- Mexican band Tamarind Sun - three sisters a brother and a brother-in-law to be writing and playing some terrific original songs rooted in two cultures and languages.
